RIPA/16/01(ENF) 09/05/2016 Prevent or detect crime Directed surveillance to identify perpetrators of flytipping at Derby Road South Woodford from 16th May for 14 days. 15/06/2016 Witness of one flytip offence. Officers able to witness the offence, identify perpetrator and refer for summons. This could only have been successful as they were in plan clothes.
RIPA/13/08(TS) 11/06/2013 Prevent or detect crime Test purchasing for underage sales of alcohol and tobacco. 11 named premises. 03/07/2013 7 premises were visited, 2 of which were closed. Of the 5 premises visited two sales were made. A PND was served on the seller in one of the premises, and the Designated Premises Supervisor of the other premises has been asked to attend the Community Safety offices to explain why the sale took place. No further need for surveillance at these premises at this time.
RIPA/13/07(TS) 22/05/2013 Prevent or detect crime 2 TSOs and police officers located inside resident's premises to witness and prevent potential aggressive trade practices regarding roof replacement 23/05/2013 TSOs spoke to suspect and prevented high pressure sales pitch to elderly resident.
RIPA/13/06(TS) 22/05/2013 Prevent or detect crime Judicial authorisation was not granted. Test Purchasing for underage sales of alchohol - 9 named premises 29/05/2013 Magistrates Clerk queried age of the intelligence and that the list of premises was on the RIPA application but not the magistrates form. Agreed to resubmit application, ensuring intelligence no more than 3 months old and list of premises to be included in magistrate application. No further need for surveillance at this point.
RIPA/13/05(TS) 22/05/2013 Prevent or detect crime Test purchasing for underage sales of alchohol and tobacco. 9 named premises. 07/06/2013 6 premises were visited and one premises sold tobacco. Seller and proprietor invited to attend CS officers for interviews. No sales of alcohol and no further need for surveillance at this point.
RIPA/13/04(TS) 19/04/2013 Prevent or detect crime Test Purchasing for underage sales of alchohol - 15 named premises 29/04/2013 15 premises were visited and 2 sales were made.PNDs were served on one seller, both premises owners will be asked to attend interviews at Council offices. No further need for surveillance at this point.
RIPA/13/03(ts) 12/02/2013 Prevent or detect crime Judicial authorisation was not granted. 28/02/2013 RIPA Cancelled.
RIPA/13/02(TS) 02/01/2013 Prevent or detect crime Test Purchasing for underage sales of alchohol - 12 named premises. 12/02/2013 7 premises were visited and three sales were made. A PND was served on the seller in one of the premises, and the Designated Premises Supervisor and the Licence holder of the other two premises respectively have been asked to attend the Community Safety offices for interviews. No further need for surveillance at this time
